The FIA has revealed the complete provisional 2020-21 Formula E calendar, and at the same time acknowledged the series as a FIA world championship for the very first time.
While some were highly critical of the series when it was launched in 2014, with a few bumps along the way it has been proven to be a top level championship, some truly great drivers racing for electric glory over the years. Competition is fierce, and the racing being confined to mostly city streets many people who had not been exposed to motorsport before have now fallen in love with the sport.
The 2019-20 Formula E season might have been something of an odd one (the coronavirus has meant that just five races have been held since September 2019, with António Félix da Costa currently at the top of the standings), but series organisers and the FIA are looking beyond the current season at what should be business as normal.
So, without further ado, here’s the full, Series 7 2020-21 Formula E calendar.
