If you thought frustrated truckers on the A303 during the summer holiday rush were bonkers, wait until you see this lot take to the track.
Is it absurd? Yes. Is it entertaining? You bet! The FIA European Truck Racing Championships kicked off in May and the guys over at Drivetribe have put together this high-octane highlights video from the Red Bull Ring in Austria to remind us how brilliant Truck racing is.
Officially (if somewhat unrealistically) truck racing is a non-contact form of motorsport. But when you put a grid full of supercharged lorry cabs together, all tussling for position at speeds of up to 100mph, things quickly get a little fruity with wheel-to-wheel actions from start to finish.
Perhaps it’s about time we booked one for FOS? It would certainly make for an interesting shootout against the massive Kamaz Dakar Truck…
