We explore all kinds of motorsport in elevenses. None we think, push the envelope of the definition, quite like this though. That’s right, as it’s Christmas and these always make a top gift for a car nut, it’s Hot Wheels time.
This clip gives us a first person view as a car spirals around an elaborate garden circuit, through the trees, past the dog, in a backyard racing bonanza. We can’t think of a real-life circuit that involves a ski lift as part of the track… There’s absolutely zero danger or risk, save for some scuffed hot wheels paint, yet we feel a sense of suspense as the car and camera cruise around this surreal track, onto the roof of the house, through loop-the-loops and more. Spellbindingly therapeutic, yet oddly stressful.
