One step up the range, you'll find the 45 Quattro. It produces the same power as the two-wheel drive model, but with the help of an additional motor on its front axle, it shaves one-tenth of a second off its 0-62mph time. The 55 Quattro resides at the top of the Q4 tree and produces 340PS to get from 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds and onto a limited 112mph top speed – the same Vmax as the rest of the range. Both Quattro models can charge at speeds of up to 175kWh.
All models get a revised suspension setup that's said to improve comfort and responsiveness – irrespective of whether you go for the standard, 15mm lower Sport or adjustable damper setup – and the steering is also supposed to be more direct.
