Drawing comparisons to the Bonhams|Cars Hunter Green Collection sale of Astons 15 years ago, every car in the latest sale is finished in special-order Tangerine Orange paint with a matching interior. Each car carries a delivery mileage and is offered at no reserve.
A pair of DBS models – a coupe and a Volante convertible – will lead the sale carrying an upper estimate of close to £105,000. You can also bid on coupe and cabriolet versions of the standard DB9 and the V8 Vantage.
Our money would go on the V12 Vantage Coupe, up for £70,000. The likely bargain of the sale will be a Rapide saloon, where the orange-on-orange colour combination arguably looks least at home. It carries a £52,000 upper estimate.
Gregory Tuytens, Head of Sale, said: "This is a truly incredible and bespoke offering and I envisage collectors wanting to secure the entire collection with many others trying to win a particular favourite. Whatever the outcome, the new owners will own a unique part of motoring history.”
