The performance and styling wing of JLR has created the "extreme expression of all-terrain capability", to join the Range Rover SVAutobiography and Range Rover Sport SVR.
Underneath the bonnet is a 525bhp, 461lb ft, 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 engine. The model also boasts increased ground clearance, body and suspension lifts, greater wheel articulation, tuned Terrain Response 2 system and hydraulic active roll control - a first for a Discovery. The eight-speed automatic box is also calibrated for faster shifts.
Design changes include unique front and rear bumpers, an exclusive satin grey paint finish, and X logo perforations on the leather seats. Land Rover has also announced a new 2.0-litre petrol engine option for Disco customers: the 296bhp Ingenium four-cylinder engine develops 295lb ft of torque and 222g/km CO2.
Jeremy Hicks, Managing Director of JLR, said: "The new Discovery SVX embodies the ultimo in adventure and capability of the Discovery family. Customers love the Discovery's versatility and capability and we are delighted to offer UK customers even more choice with the auditor of the Si4 300hp engine."
