Video: Blistering Cayman GT4 RS Nürburgring onboard

Weirdly enough, it’s not the time that matters in the least here. It’s the sound. Does that sound like the somewhat stifled 9A2 Evo 4.0-litre engine found in the standard GT4 to you? Not a bit of it. Muffled exhaust woofle is replaced with ear-splitting induction noise familiar to those who have experience with a recent GT3. Yes, it appears the Cayman is finally getting the GT3 engine it’s always deserved. It also appears to get a vented bonnet in the style of the 991.2 GT3 RS and a swan-neck rear wing like the new GT3. 

So how much are you looking forward to the reveal of the Cayman GT4 RS? Would you have one over a new 911 GT3?
