For years we’ve enjoyed various rear-wheel-drive, straight-six BMW 1 and 2 Series. Now though things have changed, because BMW’s smallest fast car offering, the M240i, sends its power to all four wheels.
Sacrilege, right? Or has BMW made the M240i xDrive more appealing to people who’ve spent a lot of their time in Audi RS3s or Golf Rs? Could the addition of all-wheel-drive even make the car more fun than if it was only rear-driven? As always there was only one way to find out.
