Pininfarina is a name linked so strongly with Ferrari that it's almost impossible to imagine the two companies today without each other. But these days they have gone their separate ways, as Ferrari brought its design in house Pininfarina has begun to build its own cars.

But this is not the first time in history that Battista "Pinin" Farina's company has worked on designing cars that won't exit the gates of Maranello. In fact, the company began designing cars for Lancia and Alfa Romeo long before Farina's pen worked on a Ferrari.
Over the years the company that became Pininfarina has branched out, designing cars for companies beyond the Italian borders and helping companies including Peugeot and MG to create icons. These are our favourite road car designs from the house of Pininfarina that don't wear a Ferrari badge.
