Your own car could be a Hot Wheels legend

A video of your car needs to be submitted at hotwheelsuklegendstour.co.uk by 1^st October, in time for a winner to be selected during a live stream on 14^th October 2021. They’re looking for cars that embody performance, authenticity and garage spirit, what Hot Wheels looks for in the cars it recreates.

The winner of the UK round will go head-to-head with winners from around the world, including Japan, Mexico and Germany. It’s the global winner that will be recreated as a bonafide Hot Wheels model.

Ian Callum of Callum and the man behind the Jaguar F-Type and Aston Martin Vanquish will be a part of the panel judging the entrants.

“From an imposing stance, full of presence, vivid colours and an impression of speed, Hot Wheels captures a creative freedom that inspires the rebel spirit in a car designer,” Callum said. “Hot Wheels take me back to a misspent youth when I wondered why real cars couldn’t be this way. Well, now I know they can and are. They inspire an excitement that we all need in our lives.”

Amen to that. Will you be entering your car into the competition? We’ll be seeing the overall winner available in supermarkets in 2022, joining the 7.5 billion-plus Hot Wheels cars that have been produced since the first in 1968.
