We had a small celebration of French hot hatches at the final Breakfast Club event of the year. But that just posed us the quesion: which nation can lay claim to being the kings of the hot hatch?

But that's not really a question for us to answer. So we'll leave it down to you to decide which of the world's great motoring nations really reigns supreme in the hot hatch world? Do the Germans still hold the crown with their Golf GTIs and Merc AMGs? Or have the French conquered the globe with Renault Sport, Peugeot GTis and Citroën's Sportif? Are there enough British hot hatches to make the list?
