Sunday at the Goodwood Revival presented by Dunlop is going to look very different in 2026, as the RAC TT Celebration takes on a new mantle as the crescendo of the weekend’s motorsport programme, leading into a brand-new feature for this year: the Revival Closing Party.

In previous years, the most prestigious fixture in historic racing has taken a central slot on Sunday, with the track action then continuing into the evening. New for 2026, however, the final day of the Revival will climax with the RAC TT Celebration presented by Dunlop.
This new main event status for the most important race on the historic motorsport calendar will give Sunday at the Revival a feel more akin to a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend. The morning’s action will of course be unmissable, but it will all be gradually building towards the final race of the day.

The RAC TT Celebration itself will run as it always has: a high-stakes, high-drama one-hour race that showcases the very best racing action Goodwood has to offer, but with a renewed sense of tension as the build-up to the race is set to be amplified by an extended pre-race schedule.
Ahead of the start, all cars will line up along the pit wall Le Mans style, and GRRC Members will be invited onto the grid to soak up the atmosphere as the countdown begins. The drivers will also embark on an F1-style track parade to acknowledge the crowds from the roof of an open-topped bus.

The ceremony will continue with the national anthem, before the grid is cleared and the drivers are placed under starter’s orders.
When the chequered flag falls, the top three finishers will arrive back on the grid to celebrate with their teams. At that point, the track will be opened to the public and the Revival Closing Party will begin.
Expect to enjoy live music, food and drink, and a special prize giving ceremony where the best performers of the weekend will be put under the spotlight. Following that, the celebrations will continue into the sunset Over the Road.

This is a huge refresh for the Goodwood Revival, one that’s going to give the final day of the weekend a brand-new look and feel, with a distinct atmosphere that’ll help to amplify the excitement around the event.
