Video: 2022 Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy Part 2 full race | Goodwood Revival
It doesn’t matter how many times you see a Le Mans start, it’s cool and ridiculous in equal measure. Part two of the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy at the 2022 Revival, then, gave us another opportunity to watch and smile as 27 riders sprinted across the track to leap onto their waiting motorcycles.
The bikes range from 494cc to 998cc, from a period between 1928 and 1954, with machines from Triumph, Norton, BMW, Triton, Vincent, Matchless, Velocette, Woden, Rudge, Triumph, Gilera and Royal Enfield. Quite the grid, then, and with two riders to each machine for this 25-minute, two-wheeled extravaganza, the racing was close and fierce.
