You can’t help but smile whenever it’s time for the Settrington Cup at the Revival. Not only is it a welcome rest for the ears as the roar of engines gives way to the silence of pedal power, but it’s also an opportunity to embrace the good-natured atmosphere at the heart of this glorious event.
More than 50 Austin J40s at the hands of some very lucky kids stream away from the Le Mans style start along the length of the grid in the world’s most spectacular sports day race. We can’t help but think it looks completely exhausting.
The action as always is frenetic, especially as they file through the chicane, but one pedaller in particular took a leaf our of Max Verstappen's book to take a decisive victory. We're already looking forward to next year's edition of the Settrington Cup!
