Video: Oliver Gavin's wet weather Revival masterclass

16th August 2017

What do you get when you mix thirty Austin A35s, a gaggle of the world’s best racing drivers, a historic motor circuit, and a cloud full of English rainfall? One hell of an afternoon; that’s what.

As a multiple time Le Mans and 12 hours of Sebring class winner, British racing driver Oliver Gavin is used to driving significantly more powerful pieces of race engineering in anger.

We’d wager however that he’s rarely had more fun behind the wheel than the time he was tasked with chucking a plucky little Austin A35 around the Goodwood Motor Circuit during 2016's Goodwood Revival St Mary’s Trophy, in a late-summer downpour.
