These are cars from the pre-Formula 1 era of Grand Prix racing, mainly dating from before World War 2 and with names we now associate with a different age of racing; ERA, Bugatti, Frazer Nash. However that doesn’t mean that the racing is any less exciting in these compact, front-engined single seaters. There is plenty of wheel-to-wheel racing and even a bit of off-roading during the course of the race.
