Can sim racers beat real racing drivers on track? It's the question every sim racer wants answered. Short of getting Failrace out in a real race car, we have the Goodwood e-Trophy presented by Mastercard, to get the pros racing in the digital world.
Yes, that means Goodwood greats and legends from the world of motorsport taking to the virtual Goodwood Motor Circuit on Gran Turismo Sport, alongside sim racing royalty. That's the likes of Anthony Reid, Darren Turner, Goodwood circuit record holder Nick Padmore and more going up against Alex Day, otherwise known as Failrace.
The cars of choice range from 1971 De Tomaso Panteras, to a trio of 1965 Ford Mustang GT 350s. Nick Padmore goes it alone in a solitary 1961 Jaguar E-type.
What follows is, well, a bit of carnage, but a decent bit of actual racing too. Watch on to find out what happens...
