Video: Goodwood's first ever Special Stage
Sadly, social distancing means that no spectators can attend Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard, but it has given us an opportunity to create a spectacle never before seen at the Motor Circuit.
Parts of the circuit, paddock areas and the tunnel under the circuit have been transformed into the Super Special rally stage. As darkness fell on Thursday, the event got under way with an array of flame-spitting, spotlight-festooned world rally cars barking they way around area of the Goodwood site that have never before seen timed competition.
In this video, we've selected the best runs, featuring the Toyota Celica, Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 205 T16 and a very sideways Lancia Stratos. For a WRC night gallery, click here.
