After a fire in 1791 at Richmond House in Whitehall, London, James Wyatt added two great wings to showcase the saved collection at Goodwood. To give unity to the two new wings, Wyatt added copper-domed turrets framing each façade.

Both experiences take place on the Goodwood Motor Circuit with full instruction. The difference is what you drive, and how much of the driving is left to you.

Take to the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit, where young drivers develop essential driving skills in a safe, controlled environment. Beginning on the circuit to build confidence with steering, braking and observation, participants then progress to the skid pan, learning how a vehicle behaves when grip is reduced and how to react with calm, controlled inputs.
Combining practical tuition with engaging driving exercises, it's an exciting introduction to modern driving that develops confidence behind the wheel.

Experience a variety of driving environments as you develop manual driving skills across Goodwood's dedicated training areas. Starting on the circuit to build confidence with clutch control, gear changes and vehicle handling, participants then tackle a series of practical challenges, including the activity field, slalom course, log bridge and technical off-road obstacles.
Designed to improve coordination, control and vehicle awareness, every exercise builds confidence while showcasing the capability of the iconic Series II Land Rover.

Alongside their time behind the wheel, participants can put their skills to the test in our professional race simulators, located within the Race Control Building.
Powered by industry-leading simulation technology and set within an MSUK Approved Esports Venue, the simulators recreate iconic circuits and realistic driving dynamics, giving aspiring drivers another exciting way to develop their confidence and experience the thrill of motorsport.

From registration and driver briefings to comfortable indoor spaces overlooking the circuit, it's the ideal place to prepare for your experience and relax afterwards.

Junior Driving Experience (BMW) is ideal for first-time drivers looking to build confidence in a modern automatic vehicle, focusing on steering, braking, observation and vehicle control.
Junior Driving Experience (Land Rover) is perfect for those wanting to learn manual driving. Behind the wheel of a classic Series II Land Rover, participants develop clutch control, gear changing and vehicle handling skills that provide a strong foundation for future driving.
