The Derek Bell Cup has been a standout feature of the Goodwood Members’ Meeting presented by Audrian Motorsport race schedule since its first feature over a decade ago. It’s been held intermitted since its inception in 2015, but we’re always delighted to welcome these Formula 3 cars at the Motor Circuit.

These 1,000cc single-seater cars will be dedicated to the Sunday, being the penultimate race of the weekend. These screaming Formula 3s will be up and running for Official Practice at 09:25 on Sunday, waking up with the circuit and racing at 17:35, ending the day with adrenaline and drama.
The entry list for the 2026 Derek Bell Cup is full of historic victors, but will there be a new champion this year? Three-time winner of the cup Andrew Hibberd is back in his winning 1966 Brabham Ford BT18 competing against some familiar names who are also title-hungry. Michael O’Brien will be back racing in his 1968 Titan Mk3, hoping to repeat his 2024 success again this year, while Peter de la Roche is back in his 1970 Alexis-Ford Mk17.

In this 25-car sprint race, you will see a variety of manufacturers including Brabham, Tecno, March and Chevron, spotlighting the 1960s era of racing. Brabham’s have made their presence known with their cumulation of victories here at Goodwood; BT28s, 21s and 18s will be back on the grid following their collective five wins this fixture. Featuring alongside them, also with victories under their belt, is the 1970 Chevron-Ford B17 and the 1968 Titan Mk3 screaming into action.
