But at Istanbul Park in Turkey on Sunday, both played second fiddle to Valtteri Bottas who scored his first win of the year and the 10th of his career to remind us he’s not the washed-up, beaten driver he’s looked in recent races. The real Bottas turned up in Turkey – and gobbled up a race run in tricky ‘inbetweener’ conditions best suited to Pirelli’s intermediate tyre.
