What’s the best way to kickstart your day? Perhaps it’s a walk with the dog, a cup of tea, or perhaps a few moments of silence. Or maybe it’s Fernando Alonso spanking his old V10 F1 car up the Goodwood Hill. That’ll do us nicely.

Yes, you read that correctly: Fernando Alonso at Goodwood, specifically the 2005 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. The car is iconic, Alonso’s 2005 championship-winning Renault R25, and the V10 soundtrack sublime. Current F1 cars are fantastic, but the noise of these old V10 monsters is on another level.
