He’s been here before as a Mercedes junior but this is George Russell’s first appearance at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard as a fully-fledged Mercedes-AMG F1 driver. And at the wheel of Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes-AMG F1 W10, he was more than happy to put on a show.

It was tyre torture time when George made his way up from the start line and round towards Goodwood House, but it seems he was more than happy to put his front tyres through the same degree of punishment as the rears, locking up the fronts on multiple occasions and also executing a delightful doughnut in front of the waiting crowds. It was a pleasure to have you again George!
