With two Formula 1 World Championships, one FIA World Endurance Championship, two Le Mans 24 Hours victories and one 24 Hours of Daytona win under his belt, it’s fair to say that Fernando Alonso is a pretty accomplished driver. So, this incredible overtake in elevenses shouldn’t really be surprising – yet it is.

Join the Spanish driver at Le Mans 2018 behind the wheel of his Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 LMP1 hybrid and watch him smoke the opposition, passing more than 20 competitors with ease as he laps the 8.467-mile circuit.
In a race in which he was effectively without opposition, Alonso historically took Toyota’s first ever win at the prestigious event. He went on to replicate the feat the following year, cementing the Japanese manufacturer’s position in the Le Mans history books.
