Fat tyres, low downforce, big power, low weight, low grip + one of the best combinations of high speeds and technical sections. Lola T70 MKIIIB + Daytona International Speedway = fast and sideways, especially with someone like Dickie Meaden at the wheel.
Certainly, a rising star at Goodwood and the apparent master of that all-too-difficult compromise of fast and flamboyant. Dickie has the big V8 Lola dancing to the twitch of his right foot around the infield and clattering its limiter on the bankings. Small wonder they saw serious results at the HSR Classic 24.
