Honda looks to take its New Sports eXperimental to the next experimental level at the 2016 Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hillclimb. The new EV Concept takes influence from the new NSX, employing its Super Handling All-Wheel DriveHon (SH-AWD) and an evolution of the 4-motor system that won last year’s Pikes Peak Challenge Exhibition class.

The system that made it debut in last year’s CR-Z bodied machine now has thrice the output and resides within the functional, chiselled NSX body. Monstrously be-winged and liveried in typical hillclimb style, the NSX-inspired EV Concept looks poised to savage Pikes Peak with Tetsuya Yamano at the wheel uttering little more than the whir of electric motors and the screech of punished tyres.
