Electric Triumph and Morgan 4/4 launched

These are believed to be two world firsts for these models, confirmed by the owners club in the case of the Stag. So what are the specs? Well, gone is the 3.0-litre V8 of this Stag and the four-cylinder of this Morgan. In their place, a 37kWh battery and an 80kW electric motor. Those are good for an approximate range of 150 miles in both cars, both also able to charge up with a Type 2 charger.

The conversions are described as ‘sympathetic’, maintaining the classic form factor of the originals. Before you see them move, unless you notice the lack of exhaust, you’d be hard-pressed to tell.

These are two customer cars, with the owners setting the expectations. Electrogenic offers a ‘full suite of classic car electrification options for customers’.
