Hennessey F5 Revolution Roadster is a track‑focused 1,842PS open‑top

Four-figure power numbers and nomenclature borrowed from hurricane rating systems is standard fare at Hennessey of course. The Revolution of course is track-focused, with less of an emphasis on outright top speed. The splitter, wing and dive plains increase downforce, while the retuned suspension affords better lateral control. This example is the first of five ‘Bare Carbon’ models, showcasing for the first time Hennessey’s ability to meticulously choreograph the weave of the lightweight material.

As above, the 6.6-litre twin-turbo ‘Fury’ V8 is unchanged across the four-car F5 family, with the Revolution Roadster featuring a tempered glass rear window through which to view it. Just 12 of the Revolution Roadster are set to be made with each already sold. 

Many of those to-be owners could be seeing the car in person as it debuts at The Quail during Monterey Car Week.  Each of those twelve buyers are parting with a sturdy $3million for the pleasure and many are likely already owners of other F5 variants.
