Porsche's 911 reaches 1,000,000 units

Porsche chalks up production of the one millionth 911. It’s a Carrera S in Irish Green with a few special nods (like gold badges) from the first 911 of 54 years ago.

The 1,000,000th car is being kept by Porsche for its museum, but not before it goes on a road trip at the Nürburgring, in the USA, China and in this country, with a tour of the Scottish Highlands.

What is there left to say about what is without question one of the most successful, extraordinary and enduring nameplates in automotive history?
