Video: Ferrari 430 Scuderia + Mountains = Best day ever

We’re happy to present to you today some exclusive footage of what is officially the best day anyone has ever had. It’s simply not possible to get any better than this. A yellow Ferrari 430 Scuderia fitted with a Kline Inconel exhaust (sorry Enzo) unleashed on a mountain pass somewhere in the Alps under stunning blue skies. There’s no two ways about it, this is the best day ever, and YouTube user gtoscud graciously made a video all about it so we can all get confirmation that our lives are yet to hit the pinnacle.

With this aftermarket exhaust the 4.3-litre Ferrari V8 absolutely screams as it climbs through 7,000rpm. The best part is that the driver isn’t even going that quickly, it all looks to be very much under control and within the limits of the law. It’s a very classy way to enjoy and appreciate the true engineering genius behind the 430 Scuderia.

It’s a car that’s pushing on for 20 years old, its 510PS (375kW) would be somewhat underwhelming in today’s hyper-inflated powerfest, but 0-62mph is still possible in just 3.6 seconds and there is simply no match for the sound of that engine.

This five and a half minute clip is true automotive perfection, and those yellow leather driving gloves are the final detail that will cement this video’s place among our all time favourites.
