What American machinery lacks in sophistication it more than makes up for with power, colour, style and of course that stereotypical off-beat V8 rumble. Last year Vee-Power saw a healthy turn out of American iron and this year the purveyors of sports, muscle, luxury, hot rod and custom cars from across the Atlantic have turned things up a notch or two because the selection of machinery was first class.
Picking a stand-out car from those present was a tough task, but out of the lot we’d most like to have driven off in the white 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T – a similar machine to the car made so famous in the movie Vanishing Point. Or perhaps the Camaro with the RS options… or the five-window Ford Hot Rod… Hmmm …
