In the build-up to 2019's Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, our snappers have been out to savour the atmosphere and give us a hint at what's to unfold over the four-day event.

As various transporters arrived, the event began to take shape... and no matter which particular genre of motorsport is your favourite there would be something to take your eye. Pre-war leviathans? Check. 1980s Group C cars? Check. Modern Formula One cars? Check. Rallycross cars? Check. You get the idea... it would be easier to say what's not here than what is.
