If you’re interested in cars and motorsport and have a penchant for writing, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team here at Goodwood Road & Racing. It’s an exciting time to be a part of the Goodwood Productions team, with plenty of new opportunities to be involved in creating exciting content. As a member of the GRR team you’ll be working with all the latest road cars, as well as engrossing yourself in motorsport week in, week out.

As Digital Content Editor, you’ll be sub-editing and uploading written articles to the GRR and Goodwood Classic Solutions websites, and assisting with the organising and scheduling of content. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and tone of our website is maintained to the highest possible standard. You’ll also have opportunities to produce your own written content.

A major part of the job will be to work on Goodwood’s three flagship motorsport events: the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, the Revival and the Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport as well as our popular Breakfast Clubs. You’ll be right at the very forefront of some of the world’s biggest automotive events, providing on the ground coverage to millions of enthusiasts around the world as part of a brilliant team.

As part of the team, you’ll also help to develop new ideas, coming up with fresh angles for both road and motorsport content.

We’re looking for someone with sub-editing and CMS experience, an understanding of SEO best practice, plus a keen eye for detail. Some knowledge of Photoshop is preferable, and you need to be organised, driven and able to work well within a team. The successful candidate will almost certainly have a keen interest in writing about motoring and motorsport, and will report directly to the Website Editor.

Why work at Goodwood? Aside from working at our big events you’ll be travelling to cover external events where required, and not only will you be part of a passionate GRR team you’ll form part of the wider Goodwood family – there really is nowhere else like it. Working at Goodwood also brings with it a number of other benefits, including the use of the gym, and a number of complimentary tickets to events so friends or family can get in on the action, too.

If it sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, get your application in now! The closing date for this role is Tuesday 5th March 2024.
