We’re well into the swing of things here at Goodwood. Day three of the 2025 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard has dawned and we have been greeted once again with wall to wall blue skies and a forecast that promises all-day sunshine. As always, it’s almost impossible to decide where to place your focus first. Formula 1 cars, the Forest Rally Stage presented by Subaru, the Supercar Paddock, the list of automotive attractions vying for your attention is almost endless.

One thing event-goers, and those enjoying the live stream from home, won’t want to miss is the celebrations around the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship. Saturday's balcony moment will host no fewer than six F1 World Champions who will reminisce about their time at the very top of motorsport’s pinnacle formula.
On the Hill we’ll also be reuniting drivers with their winning cars. Lotus drivers Emerson Fittipaldi and Mario Andretti will be reunited with their Types 72 and 79 respectively, Nigel Mansell will be back behind the wheel of the Williams FW14B, while McLaren drivers Alain Prost and Mika Häkkinen will exercise the MP4/2B and MP4/13. Sir Jackie Stewart will join them on the balcony, his two Championship-winning Tyrrells also being present amongst the cars that will gather in front of Goodwood House.
As spectacular as all that will be, it’s just part of what’s in store today. Our photographers took an early prowl around the paddocks to capture the atmosphere as things got under way.
