12th May 2021

Touring cars, along with F1 cars and sportscars, are a key part of what makes the historic motorsport line-ups at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard world-leading year after year. Not only do we get the fan favourites running flat-out up the Hill – BMW M3, Sierra RS500 and so on – but the left-field stuff, too.

Here is a list of the top ten Festival touring car runs you might have forgotten. It’s definitely worth a refresher, with everything from a warbling Audi Trans-Am car, to a rumbling V8 Vauxhall Thunder Saloon. Of course, BMW and Ford aren’t entirely left out, with the savage Judd-engined M3 Hillclimb car and the legendary Zakspeed Capri getting their time to shine. What’s your favourite out of our selection of ten tin-top Festival runs you might have forgotten?
