Saturday at the Revival is traditionally the first full day of racing of the weekend, following on from a Friday of practice that culminates in the first race of the meeting. This year, day two at the Revival began with a parade of Austin 7s and practice for the Sussex Trophy before the Madgwick Cup got underway to start the day off proper. A brief interlude for the first part of Settrington Cup was followed by the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy, a tribute to Graham Hill and the Glover Trophy.
Another parade, this time celebrating 70 years of Ferrari, led neatly into part one of the St. Mary’s Trophy presented by Motul and the Goodwood Trophy, before the day was brought to a close with the always spectacular Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy, as beautiful ‘60s sportscars raced into the dusk. It was a packed day of action, and one that we will most certainly be watching back.
