Video: 2022 Goodwood Revival Friday full day

14th October 2022
Simon Ostler

The first day of the Goodwood Revival is always a day for fans of motorsport to really take in the warm atmosphere as the Motor Circuit and its surroundings get warped back in time to that glorious period between 1948 and 1966.

While there might not be much racing action, the track is still just as busy, if not more so, than Saturday and Sunday, as the drivers seek to make the absolute most of the practice time they have available to fine-tune their cars and acclimatise themselves to the conditions.

That being the case, you can expect to see almost every car in attendance at this year’s Revival out on track at some point during the day, with the highlight being the fantastic Freddie March Memorial Trophy paying homage to the original Goodwood 9 Hours. It’s the perfect culmination to what is always a fantastic day at Goodwood, as the gorgeous ‘50s sportscars race into the dusk.
