Video: The seven best battles of Goodwood SpeedWeek 2020
With SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard in our rear-view mirror, we find ourselves looking back at the best moments from the event. Obviously, a key category of best moments is the best in-race battles. With every moment of SpeedWeek captured on camera, we’ve sifted through and compiled seven of the best battles from the event.
We open with Rob Huff vs. James Cottingham in the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy, nose-to-tail in the closing laps of the race, vying for glory. Rob Huff does absolutely everything to try and get the edge on Cottingham but to no avail. Perhaps with a couple more laps.
We then move on to the Gerry Marshall and the latest bout in a classic decades-long battle. Mustang vs. Camaro, with the red Boss on the defensive with Craig Davies at the wheel, and the Camara and Jack Tetley giving chase.
Next up is a Goodwood classic – TVR vs. Cobra in the RAC TT Celebration, Mike Jordan vs. Sam Tordoff. While Tordoff in the Cobra isn’t quite as nimble as the dinky TVR, it seems to get good runs on the straights.
