It was a little bit wet on Friday but, as those of you who were at Revival last year already know, that has never stopped us from doing anything. So there was no way the second day of official testing for the 75th Members' Meeting was going to be affected by a bit of rain.
It also didn't stop most of our competitors, who gamely brought their stunning machines back out for a few more laps of the Goodwood Motor Circuit to prepare for such varied 75MM races as the Gerry Marshall Trophy, Pierpoint Cup, Weslake Trophy and more.
That meant an awesome collection of Ford GT40s and Falcons, little Rochdale Olympic, Minis, fantastic Ford Capris and even a couple of stunning Bugattis helped us wash the standing water off the track, before the clouds lifted later in the day.
And it was non-other than ex-British GT champ and BTCC race-winner Mike Jordan who helped us the most, bravely ploughing his stunning Capri through the puddle on the exit of the chicane lap after lap (the very same chicane that caught out Troy Corser so famously at the Revival). 75MM is getting very close!
