The Moss Trophy returns to the Goodwood Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport for a sixth edition of this high-speed race, which pays homage to a true icon of British motorsport: ‘Mr. Goodwood’ himself, Sir Stirling Moss.

First held in 2014 at the inaugural modern-era Members’ Meeting, the Moss Trophy immediately established itself as one of the event’s most spectacular highlights. The grid regularly features an eye-catching line-up of exquisite trading paint with gorgeous and sleek Over the years, spectators have even been treated to rarer gems like the Lotus 11 GT ‘Breadvan’, the Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I, and a powerful mix of Cobras, ACs and Shelbys.
Interestingly, the Moss Trophy has produced a different victor every single year, meaning no driver has claimed the top spot twice. The winning marques have been just as varied; the inaugural race was clinched by an Aston Martin DB4GT, while the most recent went to a Shelby Cobra 260. In between, Jaguar E-types have won twice using different models, and an AC Cobra took the laurels in 2023. This sheer unpredictability suggests this will be a gripping race for spectators, leaving no easy favourite when trying to pick a winner.

While the race began as a 45-minute, two-driver affair, it has evolved in recent years into a single-driver, 20-minute sprint. This fleet of pre-1963 GT cars never fails to thrill the crowd, delivering an absolute assault on the senses — from the roar of classic engines to the scent of crisp exhaust in the spring air.
With recent sprint-format winners including Nigel Greensall, James Cottingham, and last year’s champion John Spiers, we can’t wait to see this incredible grid reassemble at the 84th Members’ Meeting.
