The inaugural Ronnie Hoare Trophy was probably one of the best races from the 76MM weekend. Out of a glorious grid of cars ranging from exotic Porsche 904s through Ferrari 275 GTB/C all the way to the humble MGB, came some excellent battles.
The dynamic merits of the different cars were clear to see in the battle for the top three spots between a 904, the Ferrari and an unlikely foe in the form of an SLR Morgan. Riding on board a screaming 904 only proves further how balletic these Porsches are, even in such delicate sportscar company.
