In the run up to every Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, we do love to look back on past events at some of the greatest sights and sounds from the Hill. One such example is this incredible Renault Laguna supertourer – a championship winner in its day – showing a really quite incredible turn of speed.

The Nescafe Renault is an icon of the Super Touring era, fondly remembered by the TOCA video game-playing generation, and Mark Jones last year brought that legend to life once again, really pushing the Laguna on its run up the Hill. The way it bobs around on its oversized wheels and stiff chassis is classic super tourer, with the highly-strung four-cylinder engine screaming with every jab of the throttle. We love to see it and soon, our West Sussex estate will once again be chock-full of incredible cars. We can’t wait to see you there.
