Fresh from its exclusive UK preview in London earlier this week, the spectacular Audi Nuvolari has officially arrived at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. Positioned as the most powerful and fastest production vehicle in the history of the four rings, this high-performance hybrid supercar has made its public debut at Goodwood, offering motorsport fans a first look at this engineering marvel.

Named in honour of the legendary, fearless pre-war racer Tazio Nuvolari, the supercar represents a radical leap forward for Audi. It is the first production model to showcase the brand's striking new design philosophy led by Chief Creative Officer Massimo Frascella. Built with a monolithic, purposeful form, every taut surface and precise line serves a clear aerodynamic function — completely shedding decorative clutter to focus entirely on the raw experience of driving.
Underneath its lightweight carbon exterior and innovative Audi Space Frame lies a powertrain heavily inspired by the cutting edge of Formula 1. The Nuvolari pairs a ferocious 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with three advanced axial flux electric motors. Together, they unleash a staggering 1,001PS (736kW), propelling the car from 0–62 mph in a mere 2.7 seconds before pushing past a top speed of 217 mph.

The motorsport technology does not stop at raw pace. The car features a state-of-the-art active aerodynamics system complete with a functional Drag Reduction System (DRS), alongside long-fibre ceramic brakes engineered to withstand extreme heat. It also introduces the next generation of Audi's signature handling: Quattro Predictive Ride, an intelligent system that continuously reads sensor data to anticipate and control vehicle dynamics before the car even enters a corner.
With production strictly limited to just 499 units globally and customer deliveries not starting until 2027, today is a rare opportunity to see this automotive milestone up close. Head over to the paddocks to witness the physical manifestation of Audi's future before it takes to the Hill in the First Glance Batch.
