Ducati celebrates its centenary at the 2026 Festival of Speed

10th June 2026
Simon Ostler

The 2026 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard will set the stage for a major celebration of the 100th anniversary of Ducati. Many of the marque’s most successful riders from across the decades will gather at Goodwood to revel in the spotlight and remind us of what makes this famous Italian brand one of the greatest in sporting history.

Four-time World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty will return to the Festival of Speed alongside two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner, three-time WSBK Champion Troy Bayliss, six-time British Superbike Champion ‘Shakey’ Byrne, 2023 BSB Champion Tommy Bridewell, Isle of Man TT winners Michael Rutter and Josh Brookes, and the current dominant forces of World Superbikes — Nicolo Bulega, who has won all 18 of this season’s races to date atop the remarkable Ducati Panigale V4 R, and Iker Lecuona, who has claimed 15 second places.

All those riders achieved their greatest successes with the help of Ducati, and together they will lead the celebrations on the balcony of Goodwood House on Thursday 9th July.

Alongside a Balcony moment, Ducati will also be showcasing its history with a limited edition run of bespoke bikes painted in the colours of the brand’s most influential and memorable machines.

Among them, the Panigale V4 S 100 takes inspiration from the bike that won the inaugural Imola 200 in 1972, and the Diavel V4 RS 100 resplendent in a red and green livery that evokes the 900 Replica, the first road-going tribute to a Ducati racing bike which itself was a celebration of Mike Hailwood’s remarkable triumph at the 1978 Isle of Man TT.

You’ll be able to take a close look at all ten of Ducati’s Collezione 100 bikes at the 2026 Festival of Speed, the only chance to see them together outside of Italy.
