Gallery: Kimera Automobili EVO37 turns heads at FOS

14th July 2021
Andrew Willis

Easily one of the coolest debuts this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard was the Kimera Automobili EVO37. Released as an interpretation of the iconic Lancia 037 homologation road car, the Kimera EVO37 will have a very limited run indeed of only 37 units. Each of which will cost a whopping £415,000.

Once you understand that this retro-inspired yet oddly futuristic and boxy looking machine is built from scratch using similar construction methods to the Lancia, only augmented with the very latest modern materials and technology, do you start to accept the cost.

As with the chassis and structure of the car, the engine is also a nod to the original 037, running a box fresh 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine that is both turbo and supercharged and capable of achieving a maximum 608PS (447Kw).

Specs aside, what really makes this car is the looks. Super cool, super exclusive, and a real aesthetic stand-out.
