Four cars from Gordon Murray Automotive will make their debuts at the 2026 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. The marque that last year took the spotlight on the Central Feature in front of Goodwood House will make another big splash with a mouth-watering selection of machinery.

The S1 LM, a run of five ultra-bespoke creations by the Gordon Murray Special Vehicles division will make its European debut at Goodwood after its headline grabbing $20.6 million sale in 2025.
An homage to the Le Mans 24 Hours-winning McLaren F1 GTR, the S1 LM is an exhibit of engineering beauty with its evocative styling and sonorous Cosworth V12, which in this application is more powerful than ever.
It’ll be on display at the GMA stand within the Supercar Paddock presented by Abu Dhabi Investment Office, alongside three other substantial Goodwood debutants.
Another Special Vehicles exhibit, the Le Mans GTR XP prototype, will make its first dynamic appearance when it takes to the Hill, unleashing its 12,100rpm 4.0-litre V12 which is tucked neatly beneath a stunning body evocative of Murray’s legendary longtail Le Mans racers.
Eventually, 24 of these Le Mans GTRs will be produced, but for now we can get a sense of its potential as this prototype gets up and running for the first time on the Hill.
Something we will be seeing in its final form for the first time is the GMA T.50s, the track-orientated variant of GMA’s first ever creation, powered by a howling V12. Chassis 1, the first customer car, pays homage to Murray’s first Formula 1 Grand Prix victory at Kyalami in 1974. It’s decked out in a livery inspired by the South African flag, featuring the winning car’s race number ‘7’.
The other T.50s models will commemorate similarly significant Grand Prix wins from across Murray’s career in car design, and a mysteriously referenced ‘special endurance race victory’.
Rounding off GMA’s presence at the 2026 Festival of Speed is the T.33 Spider, which will be making its public debut on the Hill in a striking green livery. Specifically, we’ll be getting a look at VP12, one of the final Validation Prototypes, powered by another 3.9-litre version of that stunning Cosworth V12.
It’s an incredible line-up of cars, keeping up the GMA momentum here at Goodwood which has become a central location in the company’s history.
Tickets for the Festival of Speed are limited. Only Thursday admission remains but hospitality packages for all four days are available. Missed out on a ticket for Friday or Saturday? Find out how you can access our sold-out days with one of our new packages.
