Praga returns to the Festival of Speed with new ‘hyper-engineering’ showcase

02nd July 2026

The Praga Bohema has made some spectacular appearances at Goodwood in previous years, and we’ll get a fresh reminder of its stunning looks and startling performance when it takes to the famous Hill in the hands of Ben Collins at the 2026 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard.

But it’s not all about the car on the Hill this time, as Praga is preparing to show us the depth of engineering behind this striking road-legal track weapon.

On the company’s stand adjacent to the Supercar Paddock, we’ll be able to get a close look at what Praga is calling it’s ‘hyper-engineering’ approach, which majors on innovation, development and attention to detail.

On display will be a pair of Praga Bohemas crafted almost entirely from carbon-fibre. You’ll be able to get a closer look at this car that weighs less than a tonne but still produces more than 700PS (515kW) from its 4.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6.

Alongside the cars, there’ll be deep dives into different areas of the their make up, including the Bohema’s futuristic, F1-inspired steering wheel, its ‘Enterprise’ overhead control panel, the pedal box, headlamps and its engine cover, which in itself is a fascinating piece of engineering.

Praga Technical Director, Jan Martinek, said: "At Praga, we see every design and engineering decision as an opportunity to be better, lighter, faster, and more beautiful.

“The Bohema is the result of thousands of incremental improvements, countless hours of testing, and a willingness to challenge the norm. Showcasing at Festival of Speed provides the perfect opportunity to share not only the finished car, but also the engineering journey behind it."

Tickets for the Festival of Speed are limited. Only Thursday admission remains but hospitality packages for all four days are available. Missed out on a ticket for Friday or Saturday? Find out how you can access our sold-out days with one of our new packages.
