For the second year in a row Subaru will present the Forest Rally Stage at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, which will once again play host to a sprawling and unmissable celebration of rallying’s past, present and future.

Subaru’s new all-electric E-Outback will make its UK dynamic debut, and will be put to work right away as the safety car on Goodwood’s challenging off-road course. It takes inspiration from the 30-year legacy of the original Subaru Outback and will be on display in a paddock located at the start of the rally route.

Also on display will be the Uncharted — the brand’s first all-electric compact SUV, and as part of Subaru’s championing of four-wheel-drive and rally heritage it will be joined by two models that represent its rallying history, First, the 2001 Impreza in which Richard Burns and Robert Reid won the 2001 World Rally Championship, and the Legacy RS Group N car that Burns drove to the National Rally Championship in 1992.

The Forest Rally Stage is a hidden gem of the Festival of Speed, where legends of the sport and modern-day greats — both machinery and drivers — test their skills around a challenging course that winds its way through the Goodwood Estate. The Subaru E-Outback will be right at home in these tyre tracks.

“Subaru is synonymous with all-wheel drive and an iconic rally sport heritage,” said Lorraine Bishton, Managing Director of Subaru UK & Ireland.
