2026 Glover Trophy preview | Goodwood Revival
There are few races at the Goodwood Revival presented by Dunlop with as much racing heritage as the Glover Trophy, that celebrates a golden era of Formula 1 at the Motor Circuit, from 1950-63. This race hosts a field of high-revving 1.5-litre F1 cars that raced between 1961-65, and has enjoyed a fixed place on the schedule since the very first Revival.
When is the 2026 Glover Trophy?
These glorious machines will hit the track for the first time for an Official Practice at 16:50 on Friday. Then on Sunday, the Glover Trophy Race will take place at 14:25, the penultimate contest before the headline RAC TT Celebration presented by Dunlop.
Who’s competing in the 2026 Glover Trophy?
This year’s Glover Trophy hosts previous podium-sitters and exciting new names. Returning and competing for another win in this fixture is Stuart Hall, Nick Fennell and Martin Stretton, while the likes of Katsu Kubota and Ben Mitchell are hoping for their first wins in the Glover Trophy.
Which cars are competing in the 2026 Glover Trophy?
Rich with F1 history, this year’s grid for the Glover Trophy hosts some of the greatest machines from the golden era of racing. Making a very welcomed return will be the likes of the Lotus-Climax 21, BRM P261 and Brabham-Ford BT14, all previous winners of this race, as if the dominant force here, the Lotus-Climax 25, with ten wins to its name.
