Erin Baker: A year of finely tailored Rolls‑Royces

Last year was “the year of bespoke” for Rolls-Royce. The jaw-dropping unveiling of Sweptail, the one-off, coach-built dream of a wealthy “patron”, was enough to justify that moniker alone, but it transpires that almost every car leaving the Rolls-Royce HQ on the Goodwood estate last year was, in some manner, bespoke.
